Job summary

The Law Offices of Sabrina Li, P.C. is a global, fully remote HR operations role based in South Africa, supporting a U.S.-based immigration law firm with international reach.

You will drive onboarding, compliance, recruitment, training, and automation across a distributed team. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of HR operations experience for US-based firms, strong English, and hands-on use of monday.com and Rippling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, HR, Business Admin, Management, or related field (required).
• Tech-savvy; quickly learn new tools, systems, platforms (required).
• Excellent English; strong communication (required).
• Proactive, self-directed; able to work in a fast-paced, fully remote environment (required).
• Minimum 2 years HR operations for a US-based company (required).
• Experience using monday.com and Rippling HRIS (required).
• Experience creating clear documentation, SOPs, or process materials.
• Comfortable using AI tools to support content creation and processes.
• Strong attention to detail with multi-priority management.
• Preferred: recruitment/sourcing experience; Canva or similar tools (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding, get hires set up with firm's tech stack in week one.
• Assist HR audits, monitor documentation, training, and policy acknowledgements.
• Follow up with employees and managers on compliance items.
• Maintain accurate HR records in Rippling and other systems.
• Source for open roles; candidate outreach and hard-to-fill searches.
• Manage candidate pipelines and update hiring managers on status.
• Assist with background checks and credential verification; participate in interviews.
• Maintain and update training materials, SOPs, and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to automate HR workflows and use AI tools.
