Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a visionary Remote HR Lead to build and scale a comprehensive People Operations function for a remote-first, global organization. You will define onboarding, lifecycle management, HRIS, and compliance processes aligned with international labor laws and strategic business goals.

You will lead a team (or vendors) to drive efficiency and employee experience, partnering with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners to ensure excellence from hire to exit.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience; 5+ in HR Operations leadership roles.
• Experience designing scalable HR operations and HRIS systems.
• Knowledge of global employment laws and compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and change-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and continuous improvement of HR operations including onboarding/offboarding, payroll liaison, and compliance across global operations.
• Develop and maintain HR policies supporting remote-first culture and international compliance.
• Oversee selection and administration of HR technology platforms to enhance efficiency and experience.
• Drive data accuracy, reporting, and analytics for strategic decision-making.

About the Role

Our client, a fast-growing international e-commerce platform, is seeking a visionary Remote HR Lead to spearhead their People Operations function. This is a leadership role requiring someone passionate about building and scaling people processes in a fully remote environment. You will be responsible for defining and implementing best-in-class HR operations, including onboarding, employee lifecycle management, HR systems, compliance, and developing a robust framework for employee experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and optimizing HR operations for remote-first organizations and a strategic mindset to anticipate future needs. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in HR Operations leadership roles, specifically managing people operations for remote or global organizations.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing scalable HR operations processes and HRIS systems.
• In-depth knowledge of global employment laws and compliance requirements.
• Strong understanding of People Operations best practices and emerging trends.
• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proven ability to drive change and implement new initiatives effectively.
• Experience in e-commerce or a high-growth tech environment is highly desirable.
