Lead design and improvement of HR processes, oversee HR technology, ensure global compliance, and partner with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners to deliver a seamless employee journey.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
• 10+ years HR experience with 5+ years in HR Operations leadership.
• Experience designing scalable HR operations and HRIS implementations.
• Strong knowledge of global employment laws and compliance.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.

About the Role

Our client, a fast-growing international e-commerce platform, is seeking a visionary Remote HR Lead to spearhead their People Operations function. This is a leadership role requiring someone passionate about building and scaling people processes in a fully remote environment. You will be responsible for defining and implementing best-in-class HR operations, including onboarding, employee lifecycle management, HR systems, compliance, and developing a robust framework for employee experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and optimizing HR operations for remote-first organizations and a strategic mindset to anticipate future needs. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR operations processes, including onboarding, offboarding, HRIS management, payroll liaison, and compliance across global operations.


• Develop and maintain comprehensive HR policies and procedures that support a remote-first culture and ensure compliance with international labor laws.


• Oversee the selection, implementation, and administration of HR technology platforms to enhance efficiency and employee experience.


• Drive initiatives to improve employee data accuracy, reporting, and analytics to provide insights for strategic decision-making.


• Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners to ensure a seamless employee experience from hire to exit.


• Develop and manage a robust HR compliance framework, staying abreast of evolving global labor regulations.


• Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals (if applicable) or manage vendors to ensure operational excellence.


• Champion initiatives that enhance employee engagement, productivity, and well-being in a remote setting.


• Act as a key point of contact for complex HR operational escalations and inquiries.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.


• Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in HR Operations leadership roles, specifically managing people operations for remote or global organizations.


• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing scalable HR operations processes and HRIS systems.


• In-depth knowledge of global employment laws and compliance requirements.


• Strong understanding of People Operations best practices and emerging trends.


• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.


• Proven ability to drive change and implement new initiatives effectively.


• Experience in e-commerce or a high-growth tech environment is highly desirable.
