Placements24 is recruiting a Remote Health and Safety Compliance Officer to advise clients on occupational health and safety compliance across industries. You will review policies, conduct virtual risk assessments, and develop safety training materials while engaging with diverse clients from a home office.

The role requires a Bachelor's in OH&S (or related) with 4+ years of experience, strong analytical skills, and excellent virtual communication.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in health and safety management or compliance, preferably in a consulting or advisory capacity.
• In-depth knowledge of occupational health and safety principles, regulations, and risk management techniques.
• Proven experience in developing and delivering safety training programs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
• Strong virtual communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple client projects.
• Must have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office space.
• Experience working in a remote role is highly desirable.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001) are a strong asset.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct remote assessments of client safety policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement customized health and safety programs for clients.
• Create engaging safety training materials (presentations, modules, handouts).
• Advise clients on compliance with national and international regulations.
• Investigate incidents and provide root cause analysis and preventive recommendations.
• Maintain records of safety audits, training, and compliance activities.
• Stay updated on evolving health and safety legislation, standards, and best practices.
• Communicate with clients via video, email, and phone to provide guidance.
• Promote a strong safety culture within client organizations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent service delivery.
