Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Head of Performance Marketing to lead its PPC and SEO practice. This is a management role reporting to the founder, with the PPC/SEO strategists executing on campaigns while you set strategy and accountability.

You will own channel strategy, budget allocation, and client-facing communications, ensuring the department delivers results. This is a remote, full-time position with global clients in a fast-paced agency environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years across paid media and SEO
• Depth in Google Ads, GA4, Search Console, Meta and Microsoft Ads
• Experience owning channel strategy and budgets in an agency setting
• Proven ability to manage and develop strategists and drive client results

Responsibilities

• Own channel strategy and budget allocation as accounts scale
• Define quality standards and reviews for audits and reporting
• Ensure client results and honest reporting across the function
• Manage escalation when an account is at risk and lead client calls
• Lead hiring plans and participate in first-round interviews for the team
