Placements24 is seeking a Head of Online Curriculum Development to lead creation and implementation of innovative learning programs. This fully remote leadership role is based in South Africa.

You will oversee the curriculum lifecycle, collaborate with instructional designers and content creators, and ensure alignment with standards and learner outcomes while driving innovation in online education.

Qualificações

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Education or related field.
• 7+ years in curriculum development, with 3+ years in leadership in online education.
• Proven success designing and launching comprehensive online programs.
• Expertise in instructional design theories and adult learning principles.
• Experience managing remote teams and projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Based in South Africa and able to work remotely.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, development, and implementation of online curricula across multiple subjects and levels.
• Manage a remote team of instructional designers and content creators.
• Ensure curricula align with objectives, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee integration of educational technologies and innovative pedagogy into online courses.
• Develop curriculum standards, style guides, and QA processes.
• Conduct needs assessments and market research for trends and opportunities.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Foster collaboration between curriculum teams, faculty, and external stakeholders.
• Monitor engagement and learning outcomes for continuous improvement.
• Provide leadership and professional development for the team.
