Placements24 is seeking a Head of Online Curriculum Development to lead creation and implementation of innovative learning programs. This fully remote leadership role is based in South Africa.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Education or related field.

About the Role Our client, a pioneering force in digital education, is seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Online Curriculum Development to lead the creation and implementation of innovative learning programs. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire curriculum lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to deployment and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in curriculum development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role, specifically within online education.
• Demonstrated success in leading the design and launch of comprehensive online programs.
• Expertise in instructional design theories, adult learning principles, and learning technologies (LMS, authoring tools, etc.).
• Proven experience managing remote teams and projects effectively.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with quality assurance and evaluation of educational programs.
• A deep passion for innovation in online learning and a commitment to educational excellence.
