Placements24 is seeking a visionary Remote Head Chef to lead our catering culinary operations from Bloemfontein and surrounding areas. You will shape menus, drive culinary excellence, and ensure top-quality event catering while leveraging remote leadership and technology.

You will design innovative menus, mentor virtual kitchen teams, maintain rigorous hygiene standards, and manage food costs and inventory to deliver exceptional culinary experiences for clients.

Qualifications

• Experience as Head Chef or Executive Chef in catering operations.
• Strong cost control, inventory and budgeting skills.
• Excellent food safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute diverse, high-quality menus for catering events.
• Oversee food prep, cooking and presentation to ensure consistency.
• Manage kitchen staff remotely with clear direction and feedback.
• Control costs, manage inventory and procure ingredients efficiently.
• Maintain stringent food safety and sanitation protocols.
• Collaborate with event coordinators to meet culinary requirements.
