Ideal graduates will have a finance-related degree, strong analytical and Excel modeling skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and financial modeling.
• Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• A proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven approach.
• Eagerness to learn and develop professionally in the finance sector.
• Must be eligible to work remotely within South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis and trend identification.
• Support the development of financial models to support business decisions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
• Monitor KPIs and provide insights.
• Collaborate with departments to gather financial data and ensure accuracy.
• Assist in the analysis of investment opportunities and business cases.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
• Contribute to process improvements within the finance function.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.
