Job summary

Our client, a multinational corporation, seeks a Remote Global Mobility Specialist to manage international employee relocations from South Africa. You will handle visa, tax compliance, logistics and cultural integration, coordinating with HR teams worldwide.

This fully remote role requires strong knowledge of immigration, tax implications, HRIS proficiency, and excellent organization. You will develop policies, manage budgets, and support relocating employees and their families.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in global mobility or international HR and relocation programs.
• Strong knowledge of immigration processes and international tax implications.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills with ability to handle multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end international relocations including visa/immigration support and tax equalization.
• Coordinate with relocation vendors (agencies, tax advisors, lawyers) for timely service.
• Provide guidance to relocating employees and families throughout the process.
• Ensure compliance with immigration laws, tax regulations, and company policies globally.
• Maintain global mobility records and oversee the mobility database.
• Develop and update mobility policies and procedures in line with best practices.
• Conduct cost projections and budget management for relocations.
• Collaborate with HR, payroll, and hiring managers to ensure smooth transitions.
• Stay updated on changes in mobility regulations and trends.
• Assist in delivering global mobility training to HR colleagues and management.
