Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for both front-end and back-end systems.
• Develop and integrate APIs for seamless data exchange between different services.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement new features.
• Write high-quality, testable code and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technology selection processes.
• Actively participate in an agile development environment, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Help foster a strong remote engineering culture through active communication and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
2. 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
3. Proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript (React, Vue, or Angular), HTML5, and CSS3.
4. Strong back-end development experience with languages like Python (Django/Flask), Node.js (Express), Java (Spring), or Ruby (Rails).
5. Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
6. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
7. Understanding of RESTful API design principles and experience building APIs.
8. Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
9. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards challenges.
10. Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fully remote, asynchronous work environment.
