Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our fully remote South Africa-based engineering team. You will design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end components of our software solutions, working with a distributed group of product managers and designers.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of experience, strong proficiency in modern front-end and back-end frameworks, cloud platforms, databases, APIs, and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of professional full-stack development.
• Proficiency with front-end HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React/Angular/Vue.js.
• Strong back-end experience with Node.js, Python or Java frameworks.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and REST APIs.

Requirements

• Strong experience with back-end languages and frameworks such as Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), Ruby on Rails, or Java (Spring).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and DevOps practices.
