Placements24 is seeking a Remote Full-Stack Software Engineer in South Africa. You will design, develop, and deploy fintech solutions with a distributed team using modern JS and Python stacks. Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional full-stack web development experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain front-end and back-end code.
• Develop and integrate APIs for data exchange between services.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to implement features.
• Write high-quality, testable code and participate in code reviews.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and security of applications.
• Troubleshoot and upgrade existing systems.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and tech decisions.
• Engage in agile practices including sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Support remote-first engineering culture through active communication.
