Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Remote Full-Stack Software Engineer to join a distributed engineering team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications powering financial services, using Python/Node.js, React/Vue, and secure data practices.

The role is fully remote within South Africa, with a culture of collaboration and continuous learning. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of full-stack experience, strong backend and frontend skills, and familiarity with cloud

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Experience with front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern frameworks (React/Angular/Vue).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable full-stack web applications.
• Write clean, well-documented code using Python/Node.js/Go and modern frameworks.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into features.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and code reviews.
• Ensure security, testing (unit/integration) and performance optimizations.
