Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a talented Full-Stack Software Engineer for a fully remote role within South Africa. You will design, develop, and deploy robust web applications and microservices powering a SaaS product, using React/Vue/Angular on the frontend and Node.js/Python/Java on the backend.

You will collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver features, ensure code quality, and optimize performance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional full-stack experience.
• Fluency with modern JS frameworks and backend languages.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack code across front-end and back-end.
• Develop user-facing features with React/Vue/Angular and Node.js/Python/Java.
• Integrate frontend with server-side logic and databases.
• Implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure quality and stability.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams on features.
• Optimize for speed, scalability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot and upgrade existing software components.
