Placements24 is seeking a Lead Full Stack Developer to join its fully remote team in South Africa. You will design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications that power our platforms, mentoring junior developers and driving technical decisions in a remote-first environment.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, leadership capability, and proficiency across React/Angular/Vue.js and Node.js/Python/Java/Go, plus cloud, Docker/Kubernetes, and REST/GraphQL skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities in lead or senior roles.
• Deep proficiency in frontend (React/Angular/Vue.js) and backend (Node.js/Python/Java/Go).
• Strong knowledge of databases and ORM frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of full-stack web applications.
• Mentor and guide a team of developers to foster technical excellence.
• Architect scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into specs.
• Write clean, documented code for both frontend and backend, and drive CI/CD pipelines.
