Job summary

Zaaiman Exploration Drilling is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to manage financial records for multiple clients from a fully remote position within South Africa. You will handle transactions, reconciliations, and payroll processing while delivering accurate financial reports to support client stability.

The role requires strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, software proficiency, and exceptional attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in Bookkeeping or Accounting preferred.
• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, typically 3+ years.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero or Pastel Partner is essential.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Good understanding of MS Excel and remote client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, receipts and payments.
• Maintain ledgers, journals, and trial balances with accuracy.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly financial statements and reports.
• Manage client payroll processing and related tax submissions.
• Ensure compliance with bookkeeping best practices and regulations.
• Support auditors and tax practitioners as needed.
• Maintain organized and complete financial records for clients.
