Job summary

BruntWork in South Africa seeks an experienced Full Cycle Bookkeeper (QuickBooks) to manage and maintain financial records with high accuracy. You will handle AP/AR, reconciliations, monthly and year-end statements, and support tax compliance from a remote work setup.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years' bookkeeping experience, strong QuickBooks Online and Excel/Sheets skills, and solid cash vs. accrual knowledge. This role offers permanent work-from-home and immediate hiring.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Strong expertise in QuickBooks Online and Excel/Sheets.
• Solid understanding of cash vs. accrual accounting and GL maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manage AP/AR, invoicing, bill entry, and payments.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and GL maintenance.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/year-end financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet).
• Assist with tax filings and coordinate with CPAs when needed.
• Maintain digital records and suggest process improvements.
