Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Freight Forwarder Specialist to manage international and domestic shipments from a remote location. You will coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and clients to facilitate cargo movement across air, sea, and road freight.

The role requires experience in international shipping, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to work independently using freight forwarding software and standard office tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations and trade compliance.
• Proficient in freight software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate air, sea and road shipments.
• Prepare shipping documents including bills of lading and customs declarations.
• Communicate with clients, carriers, and authorities to track shipments.
• Ensure compliance with trade regulations and company policies.
• Negotiate rates with carriers.
• Maintain records in the tracking system.
