Qualifications

• Previous experience as a freight dispatcher or in a similar logistics role.
• Familiarity with dispatch software, transportation management systems (TMS), and GPS tracking tools.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities for managing numerous shipments simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to make quick, effective decisions under pressure.
• Clear and concise communication skills, essential for remote interaction with drivers and clients.
• A reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office setup are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assigning loads to drivers and carriers based on availability, location, and destination.
• Monitoring shipment progress in real-time using dispatch software and GPS tracking.
• Communicating effectively with drivers, clients, and internal stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Ensuring compliance with all transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Optimizing routes and schedules to minimize transit times and costs.
• Maintaining accurate records of dispatched loads, driver performance, and delivery confirmations.
