Placements24 seeks a Remote Food Service Operations Specialist for a leading national provider of outsourced food services. This fully remote role supports on-site managers across South Africa, focusing on efficiency, quality control, and compliance.

You will analyze performance metrics, develop standards, conduct audits, support training, and drive continuous improvement with strong HACCP knowledge and Excel-based data analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in food service operations management.
• Experience in operational analysis and quality assurance.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
• Strong Excel data analysis and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote operational support to on-site managers.
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics (food cost, labor, waste, client satisfaction).
• Develop and implement standards, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct remote audits and site visits to assess compliance and improvements.
• Support training initiatives for on-site teams.
• Analyze procurement and inventory for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Troubleshoot operational challenges and provide timely solutions.
• Prepare reports on performance trends for senior management.
