Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Catering Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the efficiency of our catering services, supporting teams around Rustenburg. The role is fully remote, requiring strategic thinking and strong leadership to drive performance and profitability.

You will manage supply chains, implement quality controls, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with sales, culinary, and event teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of catering operations experience, including leadership.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale operations and cost control.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and quality assurance.
• Experience in leading remote teams and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, profitability, and service quality in catering.
• Oversee supply chain management, including vendor selection, negotiation, and relationship management.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for all catering operations.
• Implement and enforce quality control measures and food safety standards remotely.
• Manage operational budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
