Placements24 is seeking a data-driven Supply Chain Analyst for a fully remote role in the FMCG sector. You will optimize inventory, improve logistics efficiency, and drive cost savings through data analytics, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a degree in a quantitative field, proven analytics experience (Excel, SQL, BI tools), and strong communication skills to present insights to diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or similar analytical role, preferably in FMCG.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI tools.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to articulate data insights to diverse audiences.
• Experience working remotely and managing tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities in inventory, logistics, and procurement.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards tracking KPIs like stock levels, delivery times, and transportation costs.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales, plus suppliers and logistics providers to forecast demand and ensure inventory.
• Assist in development and implementation of supply chain strategies and process improvements.
• Identify risks and disruptions and develop contingency plans.
• Utilize data visualization tools to present findings and recommendations to management.
