Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an innovative and experienced Product Development Manager to lead the creation and launch of new FMCG products in a remote-first setting. The role covers ideation through commercialization, driving market growth and maintaining a competitive edge.

You will collaborate across R&D, marketing, sales, and supply chain to ensure successful product development, manage formulations and regulatory compliance, and guide the lifecycle from concept to market.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a relevant field (Food Science, Chemistry, Marketing, or related).
• Significant experience as Product Development Manager in FMCG.
• Proven track record of launching new products into the market.
• Strong understanding of consumer insights, market trends, and R&D processes.
• Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead ideation, research, and development of new FMCG products from concept to launch.
• Conduct market analysis to identify consumer needs, trends, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with R&D, marketing, sales, and supply chain to ensure successful development and rollout.
• Manage product formulations, packaging design, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee testing, consumer feedback, and post-launch performance monitoring.
