Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Product Development Scientist to join its R&D team remotely, driving new and improved FMCG products. You will conceptualize, formulate, and test products to meet consumer needs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements, with a focus on innovation and rigorous testing.

You will lead formulation research, run lab experiments and pilot-scale trials, analyze results, and collaborate with marketing and regulatory affairs to ensure market-ready offerings.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in product development, FMCG sector.
• Strong formulation science knowledge and processing tech.
• Proficient lab techniques and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct R&D for new FMCG product formulations focusing on innovation.
• Perform lab experiments, pilot-scale trials, shelf-life studies.
• Analyze data and report findings clearly.
• Collaborate with marketing and regulatory teams for compliance.
• Troubleshoot formulations and optimize existing lines for cost-effectiveness.
