Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive FMCG Logistics Coordinator to manage transportation and distribution from a remote location. You will plan routes, coordinate shipments, track deliveries, and work with carriers to optimize costs and delivery times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in logistics coordination or a similar role, preferably in FMCG.
• Proficiency in using logistics software and TMS (Transportation Management Systems).
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a remote work environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound shipments of FMCG products.
• Negotiate rates and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and carriers.
• Track shipments in real-time and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Optimize transportation routes and modes to minimize costs and delivery times.
• Resolve logistical issues, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies, in a timely manner.
