Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced E-commerce Manager to lead online sales strategy for FMCG products in a fully remote role across South Africa. You will drive growth and revenue across marketplaces and the company website.

Responsibilities include developing an end-to-end e-commerce plan, optimizing product listings, pricing and promotions, and executing digital campaigns while analyzing data to spot opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as an E-commerce Manager or similar role with a sales focus.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, marketplaces and digital marketing.
• Experience with SEO, SEM, content marketing and social ads for e-commerce.
• Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to drive online sales for FMCG products.
• Manage product listings, pricing, and promotions on key platforms and marketplaces.
• Oversee the company website UX, conversion optimization, and sales performance.
• Execute digital campaigns (paid search, social, email) to drive traffic and revenue.
• Analyze sales, traffic, and behavior data to identify opportunities for growth.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations and IT to ensure a seamless customer journey.
