Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Aircraft Performance Analyst to join the operations team, with work from any location near Upington. You will analyze flight data, develop performance models, and deliver recommendations to improve efficiency, fuel use, and flight planning across the fleet.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in aircraft performance analysis, strong data skills (Excel/Python/R), and a solid grounding in aerodynamics and flight dynamics, all enabling expert remote

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft performance analysis or a similar aviation role.
• Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Excel, Python, R) and flight data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of aerodynamics, thermodynamics, and aircraft performance principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively remotely.
• Familiarity with flight operations and global air traffic management systems.

Responsibilities
