Placements24 is seeking a Remote Flight Operations Analyst to join a globally distributed team. You will analyze flight data, performance metrics, and operational efficiency to drive improvements in safety, punctuality, and cost-effectiveness.

You will work with large datasets, develop reports and visualizations, identify root causes of deviations, and support strategic decision-making in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Operations Research, Data Science, or related field.
• Proven experience as Flight Operations Analyst or similar analytical role within the airline industry.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R.
• Familiarity with flight operations, airline scheduling, and performance monitoring principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively remotely.

Responsibilities

• Analyze flight operational data, including flight times, fuel consumption, delays, and passenger load factors.
• Develop reports and visualizations that highlight KPIs and operational trends.
• Identify root causes of inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with flight operations, scheduling, and analytics teams to implement improvements.
• Maintain and improve data quality for all flight operations reporting.
