Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Fleet Telematics Analyst to leverage data from telematics systems for a national fleet. The role is fully remote from anywhere in South Africa, focusing on data collection, analysis, and reporting to drive efficiency, safety, and cost savings.

You will build dashboards, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to management while collaborating with IT and operations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Logistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the fleet management or transportation industry.
• Proven experience with telematics data analysis and fleet management software.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data findings clearly.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.

Aufgaben

• Collect, clean, and organize data from various telematics platforms and fleet management systems.
• Analyze telematics data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement in fuel efficiency, maintenance, and driver behavior.
• Develop and generate regular reports and dashboards visualizing KPIs for fleet management.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to management based on data analysis to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor driver behavior data and collaborate with HR/Operations to implement corrective training programs.
• Stay updated on the latest telematics technologies, data analysis techniques, and industry best practices.
• Assist in the implementation and configuration of new telematics devices and software solutions.
• Troubleshoot data integrity issues and collaborate with IT and vendors to resolve them.
• Support the development of predictive maintenance models based on vehicle performance data.
• Ensure data privacy and security protocols are maintained in all analyses and reporting.
