Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Remote Fleet Telematics & Optimization Specialist to drive data-informed decisions across the organization. The role focuses on implementing and managing telematics systems, analyzing large datasets, and identifying trends to improve safety, efficiency, and route optimization in a fully remote capacity.

You will collaborate with fleet managers, IT, and operations nationwide, develop maintenance programs from telematics insights, and stay updated on the latest telematics

Qualifications

• 5+ years in fleet management, telematics analysis, data science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and manage fleet telematics systems and software platforms.
• Analyze telematics data (GPS, engine, driver behavior, fuel) to identify KPIs and improvements.
• Develop routes to optimize vehicle utilization and fuel efficiency.
• Monitor driver behavior and coach for safety and compliance.
• Generate dashboards and reports highlighting trends and recommendations.
