Placements24 is seeking a Remote Fleet Operations Analyst to improve fleet efficiency and performance from a home-based office. The role emphasizes data analysis, KPI tracking, and strategic decision support for Eastern Cape routes while offering the flexibility of remote work.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in data analysis within logistics, strong Excel/SQL, and proficiency in Power BI or Tableau. This remote position supports national operations with a competitive salary and bonus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business analytics, statistics, or related field.
• 3+ years in data analysis, preferably within transportation or logistics.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau (Advanced Excel).
• Strong fleet management knowledge, operations, and terminology.
• Independent worker with ability to manage multiple projects remotely.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey data insights clearly.
• Familiarity with telematics data is a plus.
• Reliable high-speed internet and a suitable home office setup.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to fleet operations.
• Develop reports and dashboards to track KPIs like cost per mile, on-time delivery, and utilization.
• Identify trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities in fleet operations.
• Collaborate with fleet managers and dispatchers to implement data-driven improvements.
• Assist in development and monitoring of maintenance schedules.
• Evaluate new technologies or process changes in fleet operations.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for fleet upgrades or changes.
• Ensure data integrity across reporting systems.
• Support development of operational policies based on analytics.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and insights for senior management.
