Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Automotive Data Analyst to optimize fleet performance in South Africa. You will collect, clean, and analyze data from telematics, maintenance records, and driver logs.

You'll build dashboards with Tableau or Power BI, use SQL and Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R to uncover KPIs and trends, and present actionable recommendations to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
• 3+ years experience in data analysis, automotive/fleet preferred.
• Proficient in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R.
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work remotely with self-discipline.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organize data from telematics, maintenance, and driver logs.
• Analyze KPIs and trends to improve fuel, maintenance, and utilization.
• Develop dashboards and reports to visualize fleet data.
