Qualifications

• Proven experience in dispatching, scheduling, or logistics coordination.
• Demonstrable proficiency with remote operations management.
• Proficient with dispatch and fleet management software.
• Excellent understanding of transportation logistics and driver scheduling best practices.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage optimal daily schedules for a fleet of drivers and vehicles.
• Monitor real-time vehicle movements and driver status using GPS tracking and dispatch software.
• Communicate dispatch instructions, route updates, and schedule changes to drivers via digital platforms.
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, delays, or operational issues.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service to meet client delivery requirements.
• Maintain records of dispatched loads, driver activities, and delivery confirmations.
• Analyze dispatch data to identify trends and opportunities for route optimization.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations including hours of service for drivers.
• Respond to emergencies and provide immediate support and redirection when needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of dispatch processes and systems.
