Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Dispatch and Scheduling Officer to coordinate our transport fleet from a home office. You will optimize driver schedules, manage dispatch operations, and ensure timely, safe deliveries across regions.

The role is fully remote, leveraging dispatch software and telematics to communicate with drivers, clients, and managers. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, accuracy in record-keeping, and the ability to multitask under pressure

Qualifications

• Proven experience in dispatch, logistics coordination, or transportation scheduling.
• Remote-capable with reliable internet.
• Familiarity with transportation regulations and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize driver schedules and routes for efficiency and on-time deliveries.
• Coordinate daily dispatch operations by assigning jobs based on location, availability and capacity.
• Monitor driver activities and vehicle status in real-time using dispatch software.
• Serve as primary contact for drivers, offering guidance and issue resolution.
• Communicate schedules and potential disruptions to clients clearly.
• Maintain dispatch records including status and confirmations.
• Analyze data to identify bottlenecks and improve service quality.
