Job summary
Placements24 is seeking a data-driven Remote Fleet Operations Analyst to enhance the efficiency of its vehicle fleet from a remote location, supporting teams in the Polokwane area. You will collect and analyze fleet data (fuel, maintenance, driver behavior), develop dashboards with Excel/Power BI/Tableau, and report KPIs to drive actions.
The role requires strong analytical thinking, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects remotely.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in data-related field (Data Analysis, Statistics, Business, Logistics).
- Proven data analysis experience, preferably in fleet or logistics.
- Experience with Excel, Power BI, Tableau for data visualization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze fleet data to identify trends.
- Develop dashboards and reports to track KPIs.
- Identify trends and anomalies and recommend improvements.
- Assist in policies to optimize efficiency and safety.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for operational changes.
- Collaborate with fleet managers to provide data-driven insights.
