Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Financial Accountant for a fully remote position. You will manage the general ledger, AP/AR, and month-end close, supporting IFRS for SMEs and ensuring accurate financial reporting for a fast-paced FMCG environment.

You will work from home with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. This role requires at least 3 years in financial accounting and a strong command of accounting software and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Experience with IFRS for SMEs and strong Excel skills are essential.
• Proficiency in Sage, QuickBooks or Xero is preferred.
• Ability to work remotely with strong time management and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Manage and maintain the general ledger.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with policies and accounting standards.
• Prepare journal entries and accruals.
• Assist with variance analysis and explanations for discrepancies.
• Support audit processes by providing documentation.
• Process payroll-related entries and reconciliations.
