Placements24 is seeking a motivated Remote Graduate Accountant to join our finance team. This fully remote entry‑level role offers practical experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting and reconciliations, with no geographical restrictions.

You will collaborate with the finance team, gain hands‑on experience with bookkeeping, journal entries, reconciliations and monthly reporting, and learn to apply GAAP or IFRS principles in a practical setting, while contributing to accurate financial

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP or IFRS.
• Proficiency in Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, and Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and posting journal entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations.
• Support in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Help in ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Respond to financial inquiries from internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to process improvements within the accounting function.
