Placements24 is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Remote Food & Beverage Experience Curator based in South Africa. You will design and manage culinary journeys, source unique ingredients and suppliers, and ensure flawless execution of virtual or in-person experiences from a remote setting.

The role emphasizes developing innovative F&B concepts, budgeting and logistics, and crafting engaging descriptions and marketing materials for experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food & beverage management, event planning, or a similar role within hospitality or culinary sectors.
• Strong knowledge of culinary arts, gastronomy, wine pairings, and mixology (as applicable).
• Excellent creativity and a passion for developing unique and memorable dining experiences.
• Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail in planning and execution.
• Proficiency with project management tools and virtual collaboration platforms.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for working with suppliers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and manage unique food and beverage experiences, including themed menus, tasting events, and interactive culinary workshops.
• Source and vet high-quality suppliers, producers, and chefs, ensuring premium ingredients and exceptional service standards.
• Develop detailed event plans, including budgeting, logistics, and participant communication for all curated F&B experiences.
• Create compelling descriptions and marketing materials for F&B experiences, highlighting unique aspects and appeal.
• Oversee the execution of experiences, providing remote support and troubleshooting as needed to ensure seamless delivery.
• Stay updated on global food trends, innovative culinary techniques, and emerging F&B concepts to continually refresh offerings.
