Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Data Acquisition Specialist to define, set up and ingest External Data Streams for clinical trials. This remote/homebased role requires collaboration with data stakeholders to ensure compliant data transfer and accurate ingestion into the CDMR.

You will develop data transfer agreements, translate concepts into data mappings, and perform UAT to verify data against specifications. A Bachelor’s degree and 3 years in clinical data management are expected, with knowledge of SDTM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in clinical data management.
• Experience with external data (Safety Lab, PK, biomarkers, ECG).
• Experience with external data providers in a clinical study setting.
• Experience developing data transfer agreements.
• Experience working on clinical trials.
• Experience in diverse, cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of SDTM.
• Working knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Define, set up and ingest External Data Streams per protocol.
• Liaise with data stakeholders to agree transfer, ingestion and structure.
• Create change requests for new data concepts and structures.
• Develop trial-specific Data Transfer Agreements (tsDTAs).
• Ensure data transfer frequencies meet study requirements.
• Coordinate with external data providers for tsDTA alignment.
• Translate medical concepts into data mappings in the Data Transfer Agreement.
• UAT for test data transfers to ensure alignment with specifications.
• Implement data transfer mechanisms for external data streams into CDMR.
• Monitor data availability and accuracy, resolving transfer issues.
