Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Data Acquisition Specialist - External Data (Remote/Homebased) to define, set up and ingest external data streams for clinical trials. You will work with data from labs, ECG, wearables and EHR sources, ensuring compliance with data protection laws and appropriate data models.

The role requires collaboration with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years in clinical data management, and strong knowledge of SDTM and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science.
Minimum of 3 years' experience managing data in clinical research.
Experience with external data sources (Safety Lab, PK, ECG, etc.).
Experience developing data transfer agreements.
Knowledge of SDTM and GCP/ICH guidelines.
Excellent written and verbal English skills.

Responsibilities

Execute deliverables for Standardized External Data Streams.
Assess external data collection requirements per protocol and plan setup activities.
Liaise with key data stakeholders to define data transfer and structure per data model.
Create change requests for new data concepts or structures.
Develop trial-specific Data Transfer Agreements documenting study requirements and methods.
Ensure data transfer frequencies meet study start-up timelines.
Coordinate with external data providers for alignment of tsDTA.
Translate medical concepts into data mapping guidance for Clinical programmers.
UAT of test data transfers to ensure accuracy with data specifications.
