Placements24 is seeking a creative and highly organized Remote Catering Event Planner to manage the successful execution of diverse catering events from conception to completion. This fully remote role requires a strategic thinker with a flair for creativity and a deep understanding of client needs.

You will liaise with clients, develop bespoke event concepts, coordinate with culinary and operations teams, and ensure seamless delivery that exceeds expectations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in event planning, with catering event management experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects remotely.
• Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with event management software and digital collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand objectives, preferences, and budget.
• Develop creative event plans, including menu selections, themes, and logistics.
• Coordinate all aspects of event execution with culinary, service, and delivery teams.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiations within budget.
• Oversee event timelines and milestones to ensure timely delivery.
• Provide exceptional client service and resolve inquiries promptly.
