Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Environmental Scientist to join a fully remote team serving clients in Benoni and beyond. You will conduct EIAs, monitor environmental parameters, and develop management plans to minimize ecological footprints.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's or master's in environmental science or related field, at least four years' experience in environmental consulting or management, and strong reporting and regulatory interpretation skills suitable for remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science or related field required.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in environmental consulting or management.
• Strong skills in environmental data analysis and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct EIAs and prepare documentation for regulatory submission.
• Monitor environmental parameters and analyze results.
• Develop and implement environmental management plans and remediation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and policies.
• Advise clients on best practices for pollution prevention and resource conservation.
