Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Wireless Network Specialist to design, implement, and optimize enterprise wireless networks for a distributed user base. You will work from home, configuring Wi-Fi (802.11ax/ac/n), evaluating RF performance, and ensuring security and reliability across locations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in wireless design and deployment, strong knowledge of WPA3, RADIUS, and enterprise controllers, and excellent remote communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of hands-on wireless network design, deployment, and support.
• Strong knowledge of Wi-Fi standards, RF principles, site surveys, and wireless security protocols (WPA3, RADIUS).
• Experience with enterprise wireless controllers and access points from major vendors.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and remote troubleshooting skills, with clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy enterprise-grade wireless networks (Wi-Fi 802.11ax/ac/n, and cellular technologies).
• Monitor wireless network performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize capacity.
• Troubleshoot complex wireless connectivity issues, interference, and security threats.
• Develop and maintain wireless network documentation (maps, standards, policies).
• Evaluate and recommend new wireless technologies to improve capabilities.
