Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a driven Remote Business Development Executive to identify and pursue new software sales opportunities across South Africa. This fully remote role lets you build a strong pipeline, nurture enterprise clients, and close significant deals from your home office.

You will lead prospecting, conduct discovery calls and virtual presentations, and collaborate with pre-sales teams to deliver compelling proposals.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in B2B software sales and business development.
• Strong understanding of the software sales cycle for enterprise clients.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for virtual interactions.
• Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.

Responsibilities

• Proactively generate new business leads through prospecting, networking, and digital outreach.
• Conduct in-depth discovery calls and virtual presentations to showcase software solutions.
• Develop and execute tailored sales strategies to penetrate target markets and accounts.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
• Collaborate with pre-sales engineers and product teams to deliver compelling proposals.
• Meet and exceed ambitious sales targets and revenue goals on a quarterly and annual basis.
