Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Renewable Energy Finance Specialist to join a fully remote team. You will build financial models, conduct due diligence, and structure debt and equity for large renewable projects, coordinating with global stakeholders in a virtual setting.

The role demands a Master's in finance or related field, at least 5 years in project or corporate finance, and strong negotiation and communication skills to drive investment processes and project finance outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project finance, corporate finance, or investment banking, with a significant focus on the renewable energy sector.
• Proven experience in financial modeling, debt syndication, and equity fundraising for large-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment and mitigation strategies in project finance.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex financial transactions simultaneously in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed financial models for renewable energy projects, including cash flow projections, debt structuring, and sensitivity analysis.
• Conduct financial due diligence for potential investments and project acquisitions.
• Negotiate and structure financing agreements with banks, investors, and other financial institutions.
• Prepare financial reports, investment memorandums, and presentations for internal approval and external stakeholders.
• Monitor the financial performance of existing projects and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Stay informed about the latest trends in renewable energy finance, green bonds, and sustainable investment mechanisms.
