Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Renewable Energy Policy Analyst to join its fully remote team. You will research, analyze, and advocate for policies that accelerate renewable energy adoption and integration, providing critical insights to government bodies and industry leaders to shape a sustainable energy future.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Public Policy or a related field, at least four years of energy policy experience, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Public Policy or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of energy policy analysis experience, renewables preferred.
• Strong research, quantitative, and policy development skills.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze national and international renewable energy policies, regulations, and market trends.
• Evaluate the impact of proposed policies on the renewable energy sector and the broader economy.
• Develop policy recommendations and position papers to advocate for favorable regulatory frameworks.
• Engage with policymakers, industry associations, and other stakeholders to promote renewable energy adoption.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and briefs summarizing complex policy issues for diverse audiences.
• Monitor legislative developments and provide timely updates and analysis.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align policy analysis with business strategy and project development.
