Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Electrical or Chemical Engineering with energy storage focus.
- At least 5 years of professional energy storage design experience.
- Strong understanding of battery chemistries, power electronics, and grid principles.
- Experience with BESS modeling and control systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and engineer BESS configurations including batteries, inverters, and BMS.
- Develop control strategies and algorithms for BESS and renewables integration.
- Model, simulate, and analyze energy storage system performance.
- Collaborate with teams, manufacturers, and clients on specs and plans.
- Troubleshoot BESS hardware and software challenges.
- Stay updated on emerging energy storage trends.
