Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst for a fully remote role supporting intelligence operations with ties to Paarl. You will collect, clean, model, and analyze data related to global oil and gas markets, delivering insights and dashboards to commercial and technical teams while working independently in a remote framework.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience, strong Python/SQL skills, and proficiency in Excel, Tableau or Power BI.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in energy or related sectors.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• Proficient in Excel, SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy) or R.
• Experience with data visualization tools Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong communication and remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and validate data from diverse sources in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Develop and maintain databases and data models for retrieval and analysis.
• Perform statistical analysis to identify market trends and indicators.
• Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights.
• Prepare regular market intelligence and performance reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and provide support.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy across outputs.
