Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in electrical design and engineering, with renewable energy preference.
Expertise in power systems analysis, distribution, and protection.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, PVSyst or similar.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

Provide expert consultation and design support for electrical systems related to renewable energy projects (solar, wind, etc.).
Develop detailed electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications using industry-standard software.
Analyze system performance, identify areas for improvement, and propose optimized solutions.
Review and critique designs from other engineers and external consultants, providing constructive feedback.
Conduct feasibility studies and technical due diligence for potential new projects.
Ensure all electrical designs comply with relevant international standards (IEC, IEEE) and local regulations.
Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of complex electrical issues remotely.
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for project stakeholders.
Collaborate effectively with project managers, site engineers, and other team members through virtual channels.
Stay current with advancements in electrical engineering, particularly within the renewable energy sector.
